| Abstract: | The experience of German managers working for German subsidiaries of foreign corporations is described. They face every day another management and corporate culture. Although the experience of the managers varies widely and their relations to parent company are very different, there is one common finding: the knowledge of the specialities of the corporate culture of the foreign company is a crucial condition of the success. The major characteristics of the Japanese, French, American and Scandinavian corporate culture are given special attention. |
