Abstract:America's workforce is changing rapidly. The workforce is becoming more diverse, creating a greater potential for employment discrimination. While most attention has been focused on women and minorities, the study presented here shows that managers must also pay attention to grievances of men. This article discusses the legal concepts of employment discrimination, sources and patterns of claims and strategies for confronting and preventing discrimination within a business organization. A variety of available training methods for supervisors and employees is suggested: classroom, role play, or simulations.
