| Abstract: | This article reviews Lithuania's economy and forecast developments for 1994 in construction, foreign trade, privatization, industry, agriculture and transportation. The budget for 1994 is LTL 2,945 million. The government plans to spend about LTL 250 million on construction, 43 percent more than in 1993. Resources will be allocated primarily for restructuring the energy complex, transportation systems, communications and information, expansion of agricultural activity by independent farmers, and environmental production. |
