Abstract: | The lack of close attention to internal supplier-customer relationships can jeopardize external customer satisfaction. Companies must ensure that all customers are satisfied - both whithin and outside of the firm. Shaping a culture that stresses and successfully drives internal customer satisfaction requires a number of steps. The organization first needs to address basic employee needs. Human, physical, and technological resources must be adequate. Companies must spotlight internal customer service as a priority. Internal customer satisfaction should be rigorously monitored both formally and informally. |
