| Abstract: | The article presents the effects of liberalising open hours in retail trade in France. Three sources of information are used: time budget assembled by INSEE furnishes sociologic data; accounting data report about cost effects; a sectoral model of the economy (DIVA) demonstrates macroeconomic impacts. Overall the results are fairly similar to those gained in Brittain in the eighties. |
