Abstract:Software development is a time-consuming and costly activity, so much so that it justifies high market research outlays. Nevertheless market research of software products is in its infancy. This is caused mainly by the special characteristics of this commodity which requires the integration of elements of technology marketing and service marketing. The article sketches up the outlines of this new discipline.
