| Abstract: | The current developments in digital video signal processing and lower transmission equipment costs are making videoconferencing networks economical. Satellite communications is one of the most flexible and cost-effective transmission media. Together with the advances made in VSAT area, videoconferencing via satellite is rapidly improving. Hughes Network Systems Inc. (HNS) has developed the inTeleconferencing system to exploit these opportunities. |
