Abstract:Radio-based communications systems played a highly important role in the Gulf War supplying data, location, voice , etc. Different systems were used from the U.S.A., U.K. and France. The global positioning system (GPS) was especially useful in ground war. During the fights the telecommunication network of Kuwait was seriously damaged and after the war many companies offered their help to repair losses.
