| Abstract: | Computational linguistics uses formal grammar to treat natural languages. Computer criticism uses stylistic facets of discourse and statistical analysis of language to model author characteristics , reader response and critical perspectives. Despite these distinct differences however, the people using the computer to study language and those using it to study literature are groping in each other's direction. |
