Abstract:Banca serfin, Mexico's largest banking chain installed a $4 million VSAT network in December 1991. The network links Banca Serfin's Mexico City headquarters and its four regional offices with 172 of its branch banks. Each regional office operates a satellite master station. Network performance has increased to virtually one hundred percent availability.
