| Abstract: | Estimation techniques play an important role in satellite orbit determination and will be of great value in emerging markets like Eastern Europe and the C.I.S. where a number of inclined-orbit birds exist that can be used to serve communications demand. The main change that the inclined satellite operation will bring is the earth station design, which will have to be upgraded with accurate tracking capabilities. |
