| Abstract: | The agricultural product trade policy made by the European Common Market to serve the common agricultural policy is a protectionist policy. The European Common Market strictly restricts the import of competitive agricultural products. But the products which are in short supply are seldom influenced by trade protection. In accordance with the characteristics of the European Common Market, we should: improve the export structure of the agricultural product; strengthen the construction of the production base of agricultural foodstuffs and special local products the European Common Market; quicken up the course of the unification of trade, industry and agriculture; fully make use of the general preferential system and import quotas; and resume as soon as possible China's qualifications as a GATT member state. |
