| Abstract: | Management auditing is widely recognized as an important business tool and has a particularly high profile in the field of quality management. This article examines the techniques and role of internal management audits (i.e. audits carried out by a management team on its own systems) through the experiences of a medium-sized UK chemical manufacturer. The research was carried out during the implementation and development of internal quality audit procedures to meet the requirements of registration to ISO 9002 (1987). |
