Abstract: | Du Pont attorneys serve as principal environmental counsel for more than sixty company facilities in more than twenty states, handling everything from emissions permit negotiations to oversight of Superfund cleanups. Their mission: to keep Du Pont's vast, complicated chemical empire in compliance with an ever-increasing network of federal, state, and local environmental regulations. One of their clients, chemical division environmental manager says, he consults the environmental lawyers "not quite daily," but at least three or four times a week. |
