| Abstract: | The article is one of the few works devoted to the internal characteristics of iambic hexameter in Russian poetry. It offers an analysis of 28 modulations of iambic hexameter in Pushkin's 12 poems. The results of the analysis are compared to those achieved by G.Shengeli in his article entitled 'Morphologia russkogo shestistopnogo iamba' published in l918. |
