Abstract:Dealing on inside information refers to securities exchange performed by persons because of their special status and rights, or because they get special information.They make use of this information in such a way that they acquire securities and/or dispose of them.Such regulation began in the United States of America, followed by some European countries, particularly France, Germany and the United Kingdom.The author also discusses the impossibility of classification of insider trading in law, economic aspects, causes for prohibition, and the legal nature of insider trading.
