| Abstract: | The authors examine an USA multinational company to uncover cross-national differences in managerial attitudes toward employee participation in decision making. The data, collected from the company's manufacturing facilities in Britain, the Netherlands, Spain, and the USA, revealed attitudinal differences among European managers and their American counterparts. Explanations, implications for HRM and research directions are discussed. |
