| Abstract: | Standard operations is a just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing technique used by a team of machine operators to adjust the daily production rate to consumer demand by varying labor content and balancing work load. Standard operations provides a tool to drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and responsiveness. The requirements for and benefits of its implementation are discussed. |
