Abstract:The last decade has witnessed an explosion in research on the topic of entrepreneurship or the study of the creation and performance of entrepreneurial ventures. It has been noted that the definitions of entrepreneurial ventures are numerous. In this study, the authors adopt the criteria proposed by Carland et al. (1984,p.358). Innovative practices include the introduction of new products , new methods of production, opening of new markets, new sources of supply and industrial reorganization.
