| Abstract: | The objective of this research is to investigate the impact of household economic characteristics on three categories of leisure expenditures. The dependent variables were household expenditures on active leisure, passive leisure and social entertainment. The results indicated that household income, the number of adults, and the age, race and education of the household head had a significant impact on leisure expenditures. |
