| Abstract: | A healthy economy is not enough to make construction in central and eastern Europe grow. Building regulations, ownership rights and local financing must be sorted out. there is a saying that when construction goes well, all goes well. Travelling through Central and Eastern Europe, you might be excused for thinking there's an economic boom going on. The signs are everywhere: vans unloading cement bags, piles of bricks covered by tarpaulin behind brand new fences. |
