| Abstract: | When a Borg-Warner plant in Muncie, Indiana, converted part of its manufacturing facilities to the focused factory approach, the management accountants asked themselves: are we satisfying our customers? The users, or manufacturing managers, indicated that traditional reports were useless so the accountants teamed up with operating managers to develop useful accounting reports. |
