| Abstract: | As a result of the impact of information technology on manufacturing, it is envisaged that manufacturing organizations will tend to be more coordination intensive. Therefore a tool for the analysis and specification of coordination intensive manufacturing is needed. This paper suggests an object oriented systems analysis method to satisfy this requirement: the hierarchical and object oriented manufacturing systems analysis (HOOMA). This method is developed to support the requirement of systems analysis and definition within the manufacturing context. |
