| Abstract: | The materials provided by the State Administration of Market show that the total overseas investment value has reached USD several ten billions and there are 10000 odd enterprises, scattered in more than 120 countries all over the world with total assets worth 2000 billion RMB. The existing problems in the management of China's overseas state assets are as follows: Because of no distinct responsibility in operation, China's overseas enterprises were registered in the names of individuals, which led to illegally misappropriating state assets and faults in making decisions on investment. So the countermeasures are 1. Strengthening the management of overseas state assets; 2. The registration of enterprises investing abroad must be notarized; 3. Establishing a system of indexes for evaluating operational efficiency of state assets. |
