| Abstract: | By the end of 1993, China had 4500 enterprises investing abroad, with investment accumulating to USD 5.16 billion. Faced with the intense economic competition in the world, China's state enterprises must choose a new operational model of internationalization. At present, they should practice a strategy of integrating directly with world economy and carry out international business at high level and at high starting point. While exporting funds and technology, China's state enterprises may invest directly in foreign countries to run factories there or control stocks or take other forms like joint venture, cooperation or becoming a share holder by providing technology. |
