Abstract:The presence or absence of significant differences between the mail and e-mail along the three important dimensions defining the success of a market research - response rate, speed, and quality - were tested by the following hypotheses respectively: H1 There is no significant difference in response rate between mail survey and e-mail survey. H2 There is no significant difference in response speed between mail survey and e-mail survey. H3 There is no significant difference in response quality between mail survey and e-mail survey.
