| Abstract: | From 1973 to 1994, China subscribed a total of USD34000000 to UNDP. At the same time, according to top priorities of national economic development plan and UNDP's general and specific policies of aid, China utilized UNDP's free aid fund of USD0.4 billion and arranged over 500 projects nation wide, involving such fields as machine-building industry, electronics industry, energy, metallurgical industry, chemical industry, broadcast and television, agriculture and scientific research, which have made valuable contributions to China's reform and opening up as well as its economic construction. |
