| Abstract: | On 20, May, 1994, the State Planning Commission issued a "Circular on strengthening the management of the prices of Iron and Steel products". By April of 1995, the overall situation was that most of the prices of iron and steel enterprises and domestic steel product market took a downturn. The market prices of steel products featuring popular goods of dependable quality had been close to the producer prices of enterprises, starting from Oct.,1994. The domestic market prices of tin-plating plates and zinc-plating plates took a upturn for they were in great demand but short supply. But they were restricted by price limit. The producer prices remained stable. |
