Abstract:According to a market survey, today in China's garments market, selecting purchase covers 89%, special purchase 10%, and only the low-class knitted underwears like undershirt and cotton-padded waistcoat are bought at will by the customers. The development of garments should be guided by market demand: in exporting garments, we ought to reduce gradually the amount of processing work according to foreign samples, expand brandname products' production and develop self-designed products; The market for domestically-sold garments should develop with all efforts the better selling products basing on fully understanding and mastering the change and the characteristics of the garments' consumption.
