| Abstract: | The author has divided her article into four parts: In the first part she discusses the importance of self-employment in European Countries.She states that this form of employment is gaining importance.In the second part she discusses the characteristics of international and foreign legal regulations.She particularly treats the question as to which persons can be insured as self-employed.In the third part the question of adequancy of unemployment insurance of self-employed persons is raised. The most comprehensive is the last part discussing the possibility of regulating unemployment insurance of self-employed persons in Slovenia.Here the following questions are being discussed: voluntary unemployment insurance , the circle of insured persons, insurance case, the status of unemployed persons, and insurance rights. |
