Abstract: | Shortage marketing is no longer optional. Although the nature and extent of supply shortages vary at a given time , their presence is inescapable. Moreover, purchasing agents are demanding more while accepting fewer excuses in cases of out of stock and supply delay. This article deals with combating such negative reaction through establishment of a supply service program focused on customer needs. Key managerial issues and their implications are discussed. |
