Abstract:The quality and price level of services offered by a hotel are expressed by the star rating. Estonian hotels are awarded their stars according to the relatively strict Swiss rating system. Out of nearly 50 hotels, 16 currently have a star rating. The Tallin hotels Olympia and Palace and the Ranna in the Southwestern Estonian resort town of Parnu have four stars. There are also eight three-star, four two-star hotels and one one-star hotel. There are no five-star hotels in Estonia at present. An important way of increasing the number of clients is to provide new services.
