| Abstract: | The situation of the Electronic Data Interchange - EDI is various in different countries.The growth of EDI is cspecially strong in countries with powerfull and stabile economy and in countries where public services support introducing EDI implementation in enterprises operation.In 1995, Faculty of Organisational Sciences, University of Maribor, conducted a research on the state related to EDI in Slovenia. Opinions of current and future EDI users in Slovenian organisations were collected and analysed.Research researchers tried to identify what are the most important fields for EDI implementations in Slovenia, what are the obstacles for EDI implementation and what are the companies expectations of introducing EDI in civil services.This research was conducted in parallel with a similar research performed in Colorado , USA. |
