| Abstract: | The information which executive directors need for decision making depends not only on the decision level but also on the relations they are involved in.In this article, the author presents the executive information system model, developed on basis of the nature of executive directors' work and their information needs and requirements. Four basic areas of information for executive directors are described in the executive information system model: internal information, external information, communication and use of special programs. For each area, the information needed is specified, as well as reports that assure these information. |
