Abstract:The point of the article is backed by the estimation that frequently, in attaining the IS0 9000 certificates one fails to consider that the essence lies in the organizational self-changing toward more and more of a total quality (TQ).According to Deming, TQ cannot be attained without permanent innovating, both non-technological (especially managerial) and technological, and they both are not attainable if one lacks systemic thinking instead of a one-sided and superficial one.The article offers a set of criteria with which everybody in every organization can judge oneself from the viewpoint of the chain: ISO 9000 certificate <- TQ <- permanent innovating <- systemic thinking, and do this very practically.
