| Abstract: | Non-state-owned economy has become a key component of China's economic system. In 1993 the percentage of the non-state-owned portion in the gross industrial output value rose to 55.94 from 24.03 in 1980, and that in the gross volume of domestic retail sales of commodities rose to 60.28 from 48.57 in 1980. Private economy develops very fast. Its contributions to the state lie in increase of taxes and employment. Its development facilitates reform of the state economy. |
