| Abstract: | Dai Xianglong, governor of the People's Bank of China is committed to maintaining Hongkong's prosperity. The annual World Bank and IMF meetings will be held in Hongkong next year and will be hosted by Liu Zhongli, the Minister of Finance and Dai Xianglong. They will command far-reaching historical significance as they will be held in just a few months after China resumes the exercise of sovereignty over Hongkong. Representatives from various countries will have the opportunity to witness the realisation of the principle "one country, two systems" in Hongkong. |
