| Abstract: | Diversity is a reality inside and outside of organizations today. On the job, employees interact with an eclectic mix of people who differ in race, gender and age, as well as in work style, education and other attributes. That means employers must create an environment that accepts, even values, those differences, provides equal opportunities and fosters positive working relationships among all employees. Do businesses manage diversity because it is the right thing to do, or because of its impact on the bottom line? |
