| Abstract: | As the Baltic states move gradually through the transition stage of their economies, it is becoming more and more important fro them to break through into the world economy. One very important aspect of this breakthrough is considered to be free trade agreements with trade partners from all over the world, both those already formed and those that will potentially be formed. This paper will concentrate mainly on Estonia-specific factors and conditions of the free trade agreements, but since Estonia is one of three Baltic states, a comparative overview of aspects of all Baltic countries relating to fee trade will also be given. |
