Abstract: | Miscrosoft, Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Motorola and Walt Disney. These five major American companies once again dominated this year's Review 200, our annual survey of corporate leadership. Indeed, last year's top five returned as this year's top five -- in exactly the same order. Perhaps that's not surprising in the light of our definition of corporate leadership: to be a leader, a company cannot be a niche player that is known and well-regarded by the few it serves. Instead, it must be recognized for its achievements and leadership qualities by a broad range of people. |
