| Abstract: | According to the introduction of the director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, agriculture will be the focal point of the work in China in the coming period. The state encourages the investment in the agricultural comprehensive development projects and export-oriented agriculture. The Ministry of Agriculture plans to introduce 1000 agricultural advanced technologies during Ninth Five Year Plan period. In 1996, the focal point of the work of China Council for the progress of International Trade is to actively import foreign advanced sci-tech and experience in management and strengthen cooperation with foreign countries in introducing improved varieties, improving the soil and environmental protection. |
