| Abstract: | China's loss of state assets is due to wrong decisions about investment, money-losing operation, loss stemming from contraction and lease of state-owned enterprises, and inexact appraisal of assets of the Chinese company of a Sino-foreign joint venture. The solution lies in accelerated creation of a modern enterprise system, clarification of property rights of enterprises, specification of rights and liabilities, government-enterprise separation and scientific management. |
