| Abstract: | South Korean direct investment in China increased rapidly until 1993, and more slowly with each passing year in 1994. It is heading for the large-scaled type and centralization and entering maturity. The key to Korean investment in China lies in future efforts to promote localization. Supply of spare parts and components to enterprises, marketing of products, talents, research and development, and management should all be localized. |
