| Abstract: | By 1995, self-employed households had totaled 629,000, with 1.085 million employees and a registered capital of 5.34 billion yuan, and private enterprises stood at 167,000, with 271, 000 employees and a registered capital of 5.13 billion yuan. Private economy was take long strides forward and embarking on a new period of growth, which was represented by sustained speedy development; expanded fields of business; a larger scale of business; more shares in the national economy; an increasingly important role; better staff. |
