Abstract: | The agency theory points to the fact that the division of ownership and control in enterprises may lead to a conflict of interest if aymmetries in information and opportunistic behavior are observed. At the same time, the agency theory forms the theoretical basis for the empirical analysis of elasticities of compensation with reference to both firm performance and firm size. |
