| Abstract: | With the continuing market economies' development in the Central and Eastern Europe, the demand for foreign investment has grown. Respectively, the need for highly qualified personnel has also grown. The international business community, for its part, has a need for certainty about the taxation of its direct investment and a need for information about the tax treatment of its expatriates. The article focuses on the latter of topics. |
