Abstract: | In 1995, the bilateral trade volume reached US$ 57.47 billion, up 19.9% over last year. The Chinese side kept a high-speed growth with an increasing range of 31.9%. The proportion of the trade between China and Japan in China's foreign trade increased to 20.5%. Japan was China's biggest trade partner. In Japan's foreign trade, China accounted for 7.4%, assuming second place, second only to America. The textile raw materials and textile products continued to keep the status of the first major commodity among the major categories of commodities exporting to Japan, accounting for 31% of the total volume export to Japan. The grain, edible oil and food stuff ranked second. |
