| Abstract: | The assumption of lifetime employment is no longer valid. Unfortunately one casualty of this is the concept of loyalty. Managers are becoming mercenaries. New research from Harvard indicates that significant competitive advantage is gained by an organization which places emphasis on loyalty, particularly loyal managers, and which recognizes that loyalty is a two-way stretch. |
