| Abstract: | By June, 1993, there were 0.135 million foreign-funded enterprises in China, with contracted investment in foreign funded projects hitting US$ 170 billion. Hong Kong, Macao, America and Japan are four main sources of funds. Though innovation and perfection have been made continuously, there still exist drawbacks in utilizing foreign investment, such as unbalanced structure of foreign investment, improper macro control over foreign investment's orientation and imperfect reforms of trade system and exchange rate system, So we should deepen the reform of financial system, diversify the structure of foreign investment, fully give preferential policies to foreign investors and control the orientation of foreign investment. |
