Abstract: | The stock markets are unpredictable, but investors are buying stocks because the rewards are there. Liquidity-driven markets can collapse overnight on the least bid of bad news, but they can also go on for years. Now the economy is expanding slowly but steadily, interest rates and inflation are low, and show every indication of staying that way. What investor can do in a market that not even the pros understand: don't expect the past two years's overheated returns to continue;allocate your assets smartly; try to determine how much risk your comfortable with. |
